The Sheila Hayes Memorial Scholarship – Deadline April 10th

Trumbull Community Women will award two $2,000 college scholarships to graduating females who are residents of Trumbull. Each recipient will be chosen based on her dedicated time and effort volunteering in Trumbull or surrounding communities as well as demonstrated growth in leadership roles, and the subject content of an essay not to exceed 500 words. Join Us for Tidy-Up Trumbull – April 25th

Help make our community shine! Tidy-Up Trumbull returns on April 25, and we invite everyone to take part in this annual effort to clean up our roadsides, neighborhoods, parks, and commuter parking lots. Participants will receive trash bags and gloves, but if you have your own work gloves, please feel free to bring them.

This event is perfect for families, neighbors, coworkers, scout troops, school groups, community organizations, individuals completing community service hours, and friends. Everyone is welcome! Taking part is also a great way to help children develop an appreciation for the outdoors and the importance of caring for our environment. Join us for a kick-off at 8:30 a.m. at Twin Brooks Park Pavilion, where you can pick up your supplies. Clean-up will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. To participate, please register your group and reserve your preferred tidy-up area by emailing trumbullcommunitywomen@gmail.com. We hope you’ll join us in making Trumbull cleaner and greener!
